On October 11, 2025, One Community Hub hosted a Thanksgiving Meal in Milton for college and university students who were away from home during the holiday. The invitation was simple: come hungry, leave full, and don't spend the day alone.
Students RSVP'd ahead of time so we could plan food and arrange pick-ups from a central location for those who needed transportation. The afternoon brought together students from across the GTA over a traditional Thanksgiving meal, easy conversation and the kind of warmth a holiday is supposed to feel like.
It is one of our favourite traditions, and we are grateful to every student, volunteer and supporter who made it happen.
