Community Gatherings
Connection is not a bonus — it's the whole point.
Some of the most important things that happen at One Community Hub don't happen in a workshop. They happen around a BBQ grill, at a table with people who understand your story, or at the end of a year when we stop to celebrate how far everyone has come.
Our Community Gatherings are moments for people to come together, share food, celebrate culture and feel less alone in this enormous city. Events include our summer community BBQ, casual meetups and community lunches throughout the year, our annual end-of-year gala and recognition night, and cultural celebrations that honour the diverse backgrounds of our community.
These events are free and open to youth, families, volunteers, alumni and anyone who wants to be part of something. They are not just social outings — they are opportunities to meet a mentor, reconnect with an alum or simply find your people.
