Family & Wellness Support

Supporting the whole family, because strong families raise thriving youth.

The wellbeing of young people is deeply connected to the stability of the families around them. Whether it's a parent juggling multiple jobs with no support network, a caregiver who doesn't know how to access mental health services, or a family stretched thin by the pressures of resettlement or poverty, the challenges facing parents affect the children we serve.

The Family and Wellness Support program connects parents and caregivers with community resources, peer support and practical information. We facilitate connections to parenting support groups, mental health and wellness resources available in the GTA, family-oriented programming and seasonal wellness initiatives, and guidance on navigating systems that directly affect families, from school board communications to social assistance.

We also run seasonal campaigns focused on family wellbeing, including food drives, school supply distributions and holiday hamper initiatives, designed to reduce the practical barriers that can make an already difficult situation harder.
