Newcomer Settlement Support
Your first steps in Canada don't have to feel so uncertain.
Arriving in a new country means navigating a maze of unfamiliar systems, including schools, healthcare, transit, housing and government services, often in a language that isn't your first. Our Newcomer Settlement Support program is designed to meet you where you are, with practical guidance and a welcoming community to lean on from day one.
We work with youth and families both before arrival and on the ground in the GTA. Our settlement navigators can help you understand the Canadian school system and get your children enrolled, connect you with local healthcare providers and OHIP registration, explain how to access housing resources and social services, and guide you through applying for documents like a SIN card and health card.
No question is too small. Whether you need help reading a letter from the school board or simply don't know where to start, our team is here to walk alongside you.
- Youth ages 6 to 25 and their families who are new to Canada
- Families in the pre-arrival stage who want to prepare before landing
- Those who arrived within the past few years and still need support navigating systems
Ongoing — no formal intake required
