Youth Empowerment Workshops
A safe space to be yourself, and grow into who you're becoming.
Growing up is hard. Growing up while navigating poverty, discrimination, cultural dislocation or a lack of support at home can be even harder. The Youth Empowerment Workshops are safe, welcoming spaces where young people ages 6 to 25 can show up as they are, explore their identity and build the confidence and skills they need to thrive.
Our workshops use a mix of group dialogue, games, art and creative expression to tackle real topics: belonging, self-worth, managing stress, navigating peer pressure, understanding your identity and speaking up for yourself. Sessions are facilitated by trained youth workers who take these conversations seriously and know how to make them feel comfortable rather than clinical.
For younger participants (ages 6 to 12), programming is play-based and focused on social skills, friendship and belonging. For teens and young adults (ages 13 to 25), workshops go deeper — into leadership, advocacy, goal-setting and developing a strong sense of self.
- Youth ages 6 to 25, with age-appropriate streams for different groups
